As Dave A is not available, please attend to take on any of the vacuum-related items 

The next full field power up of the Torus is scheduled to start the week beginning 30th Jan to be ready for the KPP beam run on 03rd Feb. 

The Torus is presently at about 80 K. 
Present vacuum level is approx. 1E-5 Torr. 
It will take approx. 48 hours to get to 4.5K 

Therefore the tentative plan will be as follows - so get prepared! 
If anyone is going to be on vacation or away from the lab during the time periods indicated below, please let me know now. 


A. 09th Jan 2017 - Completion of final Torus Punchlist - essential items only (Dave K, Ruben, Nick, Wesley, Krister, George, Denny, Probir) 

B. 16th Jan 2017 - Start pre-cool down checklists (Tyler, Nick, Dave K) 
Start vacuum checklist (Dave A, Nick) 
Start pre-power up checklists (Probir, Ruben, Pablo, Krister) 

C. 18th Jan 2017 - Start of cool down (Dave K, Nick) 
Continuation of pre-power up checklists (Probir, Ruben, Pablo, Krister) 

D. 23rd Jan 2017 - Low current power-up to 100 A, 200 A, 300 A (Probir, Ruben, Pablo, Krister) 
Data acquisition check 
Data archiver check 
Alarms check 

E. 30th Jan 2017 - Power up to full field 

F. 03rd Feb 2017 - KPP Beam Run
