[Dsg-hallb_magnets] Torus checkout complete for today

Hi Brian,

We'll do the Solenoid checks today. We're not quite done with the Torus yet so those alarms should remain off for today. We'll start on the Solenoid today so I went a head and disabled the MPS alarms for it. Are there any other alarms that need to be disabled?

Also, I just used the P025 script that was on clonsl2 in /home/beng. If it'd be easier, you could put in the P003 checklist for the solenoid, otherwise, I can do it if you let me know where the latest script is.

I saw you found the script to get the P025 values, let me know when you get to P003 for the solenoid, I'm not sure that one got updated or not from where ever you're running it from.

The newer version prints good/bad and is formatted in HTML for posting to the logbook.

Hi Probir,

Pablo and I have finished the Torus checkouts for today.

We still have the hardware liquid helium level and liquid nitrogen level interlock to test. Those values stayed at 100% for the entire time we tried testing it. We’ll check this tomorrow.

We also have to measure the voltage inside the MPS, still.

Since we’ve completed all we can do today in the Hall, we are both returning home to telework the remainder of the day. As discussed, I took the voltage sources and your tool box with me so they do not get lost.

We will be back tomorrow at 8am.
