hi ruben and probir,
glad to know the checkout is proceeding smoothly.
and thank you ruben for your appreciation of the work that is being done.

i have a suggestion, regarding working when there are other groups in the immediate vicinity that one has to navigate past them, which you may wish to consider.
tyler, pablo, et.al could  come later during the day, say even after hours, when there is no-crowd  or for that matter during  the weekends.
of course this would mean probir would have to come during after hours or during the weekend.
but does probir have to?
probir could be in contact via  telephone/e-mail/logbook.
but then, you have to determine how confident you are of tyler's and pablo's capabilities.
perhaps you have taken all this into account.

needless to say i'm overwrought with concern about everyone's safety.
do heartily wish we had N95 masks
i know i'm the other extreme form those who believe masks impede inhaling!hmm!
and we know what happens when we don't oxygenate our brains!
half our nation does!
we don't want that, do we.
so i've suggested to my relatives who are surgeons to get rid of their masks in surgery and maybe even cough and sneeze at will!
they are thankful that i didn't become a surgeon!

so, much as everyone is doing the safe thing, i'm wondering aloud if there is something more that could be done

Hi Probir,

Pablo and I have finished the Torus checkouts for today.

We still have the hardware liquid helium level and liquid nitrogen level interlock to test. Those values stayed at 100% for the entire time we tried testing it. We’ll check this tomorrow.

We also have to measure the voltage inside the MPS, still.

Since we’ve completed all we can do today in the Hall, we are both returning home to telework the remainder of the day. As discussed, I took the voltage sources and your tool box with me so they do not get lost.

We will be back tomorrow at 8am.
