Solenoid changes were deployed 12/20 and partially verified (1/12 when shorted leads were installed), Torus changes were deployed 1/13.
Additional logic was added such that the new set point will be reverted if all the following are true
- new set point is not 0 (e.g. due to a controlled ramp)
- new and previous set points don't have the same sign (checks if both are above zero and XOR that)
- the read back current from MPS is above 10 A (requires MPS communications are good and there is actually current in the magnet)
This is in addition to the change that the MPS CSS screens now require specific user accounts for write access that Nathan deployed.
Will need to do some more verification of some other functionality in the future, namely the stop ramp button.
Disregard the fact that the polarity doesn't match on Iset vs IsetRdbk as we still need to verify the wiring in the MPS. The main thing is that Iset is reverted to the previous value when an opposite polarity value is attempted to be set, but the same polarity (-50 to -30) went through as expected.
