Since you want this done quickly, I will have to modify the install a bit. In order to avoid an outage and ordering a new GFCI breaker, I will have the electrician install a plug on the blanket cord. This will allow it to be plugged into a GFCI receptacle.

Sounds good. The blanket has a built in thermostat. Temperature is automatically controlled for 90F.

The work is fairly simple and straight forward. I do not think an additional site visit is necessary. I plan on having the blanket hard wired to a SPST switch. Do you require a thermostat for the blanket?
