Hi Jason,
In addition to the heater blanket power. We also have a thermostat that needs installed for the 3 sections of heat tape that have been run andinsulated. The thermostat bulb goes on the same plate the mass flow controllers are mounted on.That is the temperature sensitive item we need the heat for.
These 3 heat tapes each have a 2 prong cord and a % control. One is a McMaster-Carr 3631k501 along with the 2 shorter versions.
Could the Thermostat control also be plugged into a GFCI circuit? mcmaster-Carr 1877k24. This unit is in 96B.
Thanks,
George

George,
Since you want this done quickly, I will have to modify the install a bit. In order to avoid an outage and ordering a new GFCI breaker, I will have the electrician install a plug on the blanket cord. This will allow it to be plugged into a GFCI receptacle.

Hi Jason,
Sounds good. The blanket has a built in thermostat. Temperature is automatically controlled for 90F.
Thanks,
George

George,
The work is fairly simple and straight forward. I do not think an additional site visit is necessary. I plan on having the blanket hard wired to a SPST switch. Do you require a thermostat for the blanket?

I have a meeting with Dr Chandler at 3pm, so, I will be at the target gas pad as soon as that is finished.

Dear George, Dear Matt,
I went this morning with Jason to take a look at what needs to be done for having electricity for the heating blanket and the heat tape. Jason will certainly go back there this afternoon with an electrician around 3pm. George, can you please go with them?
Once the electricity is installed for the blanket, I will start testing and using the mixing system. Is it OK? (I would like to already use pure Argon, can I?)
Kind regards,
Maxime
