but it still begs the question, why didn't we go right off the bat for the lower scale gauge, which brian mentions in in the works.
is it because no one knew that the pressure in the cylinder was going to be a measly 200psi, or is it because it is really not necessary to measure the pressure on the high side, low side suffices.
which brings up: why isn't the low side reading good enough. This gauge per marc's foto should read down to 1 psi, (brian might argue its not accurate below 5 psi, so? once this pressure drops to 2psi mvt/hall b can swap the cylinder.)
also, doesn't the mvt measure the flow. i read 7L/h being touted around, so won't this flow rate drop as the pressure drops?
well, on this topic we'll meet again (vera lynn).
does anybody round here remember vera lynn?

Because of the fitting on the premix cylinders uses the same one as a hydrogen bottle, which can come with much higher pressure. I'm guessing the reverse thread fitting is common on flammable gas bottles?
Since the MVT is using a custom gas mixture that isn't a particular common one they don't really make regulators for it, at least not off the shelf like the ones we already have.
Hopefully after the lower scale high pressure side gauge is installed this matter will be put to rest.
