Hi Walt,
In reference to the RICH Assembly TOSP and the operation of the winch in
particular; We have sent over the calculations provided by the INFN
group to Facilities for review. The calculations were requested from
INFN just recently, in order to answer the loading questions to the
winch and pulley. Rusty and I have conversed on the matter and he says
that Facilities engineers will review the calculations and consult with
Bob Miller to ensure that all materials handling issues are addressed.
If he has any further questions which need to be answered, we will
expeditiously provide documentation so that all JLab safety directives
are followed and the work will be completed safely, and on time. DSG
will provide updates on the progress of this TOSP.
