Hi Doug and Bert,
I have submitted BList 1529 which covers the use of 2 part epoxy and touch up paint in the large clean room. After discussing this matter with Mike Brown from IH, we have developed a procedure of source reduction by premixing the canned 2 part epoxy in small working amounts prior to entry into the clean room. The same method will be done with the paint. The applicator based epoxy has no need to reduce the amount, as it is self contained.
We will ensure that the space will be ventilated by opening the large roll up door during application. We will also leave the roll up door open after working to give the epoxy/paint time to air out. We will limit work times and take fresh air breaks.
Please review the b-list and attached THA as soon as possible and contact Tyler Lemon or myself if there are any questions.
Thanks,
Marc McMullen
