hello infn,
see george's response.
given the leak rate, i think it would be wise to consider measuring the differential pressure.
please let us know your opinion.
thanks for the prompt info george, much appreciated.

Do you want to know the differential pressure between the N2 volume and the air cooling volume inside the detector?
If the answer is yes, this would require a physical connection for a 1/4" tube on the air cooling volume of the e-panel. A 1/4" tube could be run inside the volume along with the power and signal cables. This tube would be attached to one side of a differential pressure transducer. The other side would attach to the oil trap on the N2 bubbler.
The following transducer may work, Dwyer model 607-9, 0-25" wc, 4-20ma, 2 wire, $500
fittings and tubing, cable and power, $250
Total of $750
The line for the air cooling volume should be run by the RICH team prior to moving the detector into the hall

i'd like to put a differential pressure gauge on the e panel and one on the N2 panel, to compute the differential pressure between the e panel volume and the N2 volume. how can we do this.
need a rough plan and cost.
