Hello Marco,

We will be able to start the rotation from vertical to horizontal tomorrow morning at 9:00AM.

To prepare for the rotation, we will have to remove the top horizontal support and reinstall the lower horizontal support on RICH's assembly structure.

Best regards,
Tyler

Subject: next rich activities

Hi Tyler,
today with Dario, Sandro, Marco Contalbrigo, we discussed a possible
schedule for the next activities that will involve more the DSG.
The goal is to have the RICH closed and fully assembled by the
Thanksgiving, when most of the INFN personnel will flight back to Italy.
Here is what we have planned, please let me know if it is ok for you and
the DSG.

On Wednesday we would like to rotate the RICH in horizontal position,
remove the exit panel and then install the stiffening tool.
Because of your meeting, we should schedule this as early as possible on
the morning.

At this point, we should be ready to start installing the mirrors, but
this will most likely be completed during the week end by INFN
personnel.

On Monday morning, Nov. 13, we would like to have the RICH rotated up to
prepare for the mirror alignment.
On the afternoon, we would like to make the survey of the RICH with the
laser tracker and on Tuesday make the alignment of the planar mirrors
with the faro-arm and of the spherical mirrors with our modified D0
setup.
For the laser tracker and the faro arm, we will need the support from
the JLab survey group. If necessary, before starting this work, we could
schedule a meeting with the operators to discuss what we need to do.

By the end of the next week, we plan to install the electronic panel on
the RICH, rotate again down the RICH, remove the stiffening tool,
install the exit panel and re-install the stiffening tool.

Finally, at the beginning of the week of Nov. 20 we will install the
frontal panels.

The activities on the mirrors and on the aerogel will run in parallel
during the next two weeks.

Best regards,
Marco
