Hi Amrit,
Tyler is setting up a LabVIEW interface terminal in the cleanroom dedicated to the RICH interlock system.
This LabVIEW interface runs independently and does not rely on EPICS for communication to the cRio.
Signal monitoring, threshold control, and system status is available on the LabVIEW interface.

1. Yes it is on UPS
2. I don't have root because it is a clon build machine. I don't know if I can get it, nor do I want it.
3. It is upstairs because during the many SVT moves the networking in EEL/124 went with it and rather than reconfiguring the ports in there it was easier/faster to move and leave the computer upstairs. I'll see with the CC if there are any ports available so it can be moved to EEL/125. Moving Sahin's old computer won't help anything since it needs to be this computer specifically since that's where the IOCs for the 86 are running on.
The current EPICS/IOC set-up is temporary and kind of flakey due to subnet issues. This isn't an issue once the detectors move to the Hall.
Even without the IOC the aerogel would have been safe due to the design of the system. Since it is manual (rotameters/MFM) losing power/networking/IOC only results in the loss of remote read-back, but local read-back is still possible and the flow is maintained as long as there is a gas supply.
