Hello,

Some assumptions for the RICH nitrogen purge test by using Nitrogen cylinder gas as supply:

RICH nitrogen volume: 5000 [l]

Inlet Nitrogen pipe: 3/8 ''

Inside Nitrogen pipe: 1/4 '' (6 pipes per inlet line)

Outlet Nitrogen pipe: 3/4 ''

Area for 3/8 ''-pipe: 0.11 [in^2]

Area for 1/4''-pipe (x 6): 0. 29[in ^2]

Ratio (Inside/Inlet area): 2.64

Max allowed pressure: 15 [psi] (Pressure after the regulator in the N2 gas cylinder)

Inside RICH pressure: 14.69 [psi] (atmospheric pressure)

Calculated flow rate: ~ 250 [LPM]

Time to supply the entire RICH volume with nitrogen: ~ 20 min/line (If two lines are used ~10 [min])

Based on the results, there won't back pressure, and we'll be able to flow the nitrogen at ~ 250 [l/min] without exceeding the established max pressure (15 [psi]).

Best Regards,

Pablo
