[Dsg-rich] Hall B - RICH Experiment - Air Compressor Condensate Drain - Proposed piping system

Hello, 

For Hall B RICH's air-cooling compressors, we need a drain line installed from the top of the Forward Carriage to a drain in the floor of Hall B to allow the compressors' condensate to drain without dripping down over the Forward Carriage. 

I have met with Ron Bartek to discuss this drain and he has created the attached diagrams for a proposal on how the drain line will be installed. This proposal includes piping for the drain as suggested by Atlas Copco, the compressors' manufacturer. 

The cost of this plan is ~$9000, by Ron's estimate. 

After discussion with Ron and Doug Tilles, Doug stated that final approval is up to RICH group leader (Marco Contalbrigo) and Hall B Leader (Volker Burkert). 

Marco and Volker, can you approve this plan for the compressors' drain? 

If it cannot be approved, a plan will be generated that uses just a flexible 8mm line running from the compressors at the top of the Forward Carriage to the drain in Hall B's floor. 

Please let us know as some sort of drain line should be installed before running the compressors in the hall so water does not drip down from the top of the forward carriage.
