Hi George,
the test in my mind would be planned for next week. Together we would
also make some light-tightness check.
However, there is a big preparatory work to be done:
1) Drill the holes on the cable raceways, reinstall them on the RICH and
seal with silicone. The size of the holes for the N2 inlet and outlet
have been fixed, we are still discussing on the holes for the
temp/humidity sensors and fibers and on their location. I hope this will
be defined soon.
2) Install the exit panel and the stiffening tool.
3) Make the EPanel region on the RICH light- and gas-tight with plastic
and some black cloth.
4) Rotate the RICH.
5) Install the frontal panels. It would be good if we could do this
operation with the dedicated frame, but I don't know when the stiffening
profiles will be delivered by 8020. If they are not available, we can do
this operation as it has been already done in the past.
6) Look for big leakages in the RICH structure and seal with silicone.
Then, we can start filling the RICH.
My opinion is that the test will likely occupy the whole week, but the
main point is when we can start with the operation 1).
We can discuss more in details tomorrow at the installation meeting.
And from next Monday I will be at JLab.
