Hi Amrit and George,
I am not against the solution suggested by George even though i think it is not as easy as it appears... This is because the manifold was designed to cope not only with the air distribution but also with the cable support, the specific position in the volume to improve the heat exchange, the special design to clamp the existing boards etc, etc.
In addition we have tested the system for months here in Italy without any problem of pressure drop, flow rate and temperature field.
Anyway if you think that the other way is better than the one we have done, no problem, go on.
I think, to follow this second way we need to rethink the suspention system of the manyfold and produce the particular supports.
Dario is at jlab and he knows the nozzle distribution along the manyfold and the constraints in the e-panel.
Just to conclude, the plastic manifold will be ready by mid of next week. Attached there is a picture of the prototype printed out in these days to check the result.
