[Dsg-rich] RICH hardware interlock softIOC reboot

Hello Valery, 

I can't find any PVs for the RICH EP cRIO (PVs with _S1_EP_ in their name) in the alarm handler that sends the email notifications. Attached is a screenshot showing what PVs are in the alarm handler. 

The PV B_DET_RICH_INTLK_ANY_OVERLIMIT that is in the alarm handler is a interlock summary from the N2 cRIO. The PV B_DET_RICH_INTLK_S1_EP_ANY_OVERLIMIT (the interlock summary for EP cRIO) should be added to the alarm handler to get notifications for any EP cRIO interlock. 

It also seems like the PVs B_DET_RICH_HV:stat and B_DET_RICH_LV:stat should have caused an alarm, but I don't know what PVs in the alarm handler are set up to send email notifications. 

Since RICH is off, if we cause the interlocks to trip on either cRIO, we should be able to see what actions are taken with these PVs. 

I can change the limits of one of the interlock to cause the trip within the next few minutes to see if an email is sent.

Hello Tyler, 

I did not get email alarm notification when the detector was switched off yesterday due to the high temperature (sensors 5 and 6). Is it normal?

Hello Valery, 

The softIOC for RICH's hardware interlock system needs to be rebooted to add new PVs to the IOC. 

This will briefly pause all hardware interlock readouts. 

Is there a time when the IOC can be rebooted without causing issues with RICH tests?
