Subject: [Dsg-rich] How to get to RICH humidity readings from laptop
Hello Marco,
Since were not able to get RICH's EPICS screens working and we did not have time to update the LabVIEW user interface with the new IP address of the cRIO, the instructions to log on to RICHCRIO from the laptop on the cRIO in Hall B to monitor the humidity are below.
1.) open RICH Hardware Interlock LabVIEW project file.
2.) On top tool bar, select "Operations > Debug Application or Shared Library..."
3.) In text box under "Machine name or IP address", type "richcrio".
4.) Hit connect.
5.) on window that pops up, right click and select "open block diagram"
6.) in block diagram window, click on subVI whose icon says "Interlock Control".
7.) In new window that opens, humidity readings should be displayed. Humidity sensors we connected are Humidity #3/#10 and Humidity #4/#11
8.) To exit and close everything, right click on window that popped up in step 5 and select option to exit debugging.
Tomorrow when if the cRIO is moved to the rack, it should automatically start running the interlock program when it boots up.
We will troubleshoot the EPICS client for the cRIOs on Monday and also get the LabVIEW user interface working.
Best regards,
Tyler
