Tyler,
In order to save time I have a fitting gage on my desk.
You or someone else can come over to borrow it. Please return it upon finishing the work.

Thanks
Dave

Subject: RICH gas system updates

Hello,

In regards to the upgraded RICH N2 panel and the email this morning, George has ordered a Swagelok gauge for ensuring the fittings are properly tightened. Once he receives the gauge, we will check the panel and tighten the necessary connections. After the panel is checked, the panel will be moved over to the Hall B Gas Shed for the full-scale flow test. DSG will need assistance from Hall B Engineering to move the panel as we do not have the transportation equipment necessary. Before the full-scale flow test, George will generate a diagram showing the panel connected to the nitrogen supply line.

DSG also has on hand a Easidew moisture transducer and fittings that will allow the transducer to be connected to RICH's nitrogen exhaust line. This moisture transducer is on RICH and is not part of the RICH pressure transducer. It is separate from the nitrogen panel upgrade. Installation of the moisture transducer would not take long. The plan is to get all parts ready, remove the existing gas line, and quickly install the moisture transducer to limit the chances moisture enters RICH. This sensor will be read by RICH's N2 cRIO and will only be monitored; no interlocks will be on the sensor.

If there are any questions on the nitrogen panel upgrade or the Easidew moisture transducer, please let us know.

Best regards,
Tyler
