hello marco,
i take issue with your opening paragraph.
instead of writing:
Hi Tyler,
it would be important we are notified before such actions take
place, in order we can plan mitigation measures and controls
in advance.
i wish you had written:
Hi bob,volker, stepan, valery
it would be important we are notified before such actions take
place, in order we can plan mitigation measures and controls
in advance.

Hi Tyler,
it would be important we are notified before such actions take
place, in order we can plan mitigation measures and controls
in advance.
If I am not mistaken, A-37 was a broken cable. Better leave
it unplugged.
Regarding the checks, we dislike to tun the system
without knowing what exactly has been done and restore.
If really only the HV were disconnected should not be
a big deal, but sounds strange LV and fibers did not
interfere with LTCC removal....
For example, inside the RICH there are LED lights
and camera for the aerogel check. Their LV channels
do not appear in the slow control to avoid any
unwanted turn on (to preserve MAPMTs). In case
of cable swap, we may turn on the wrong element and
stress or even damage the PMTs.
Our preference would be to make the checks during the
coll. meeting (10-13 July) when we will be there in
person.
Ciao, Marco.
