Hi Tyler and everyone,
The N2 banks have been placed, the backup manifold has been installed and N2 flow has been established. MV4 is closed and will remain so until you are ready, this allowed us to complete everything with no interruption of N2 flow. I will update the P&I and send it to you on Monday. One bank is set to ~12psig and the other is just under 10 this should allow us to use the banks one at a time if the need ever arises.
Have a great weekend,

Hi Denny and Bob,
Could you send us a revised P&I diagram showing the changes made to George's latest version (attached in my previous email)?
We would need an up-to-date version showing the changes we discussed today and how the backup manifold is connected to the two N2 banks.
Best regards,
Tyler

HI Denny,
Just to review what we talked about in the hall this morning and get some clarification from you:
You all are moving the two 12-bottle N2 banks to the top of the pi tower and will run a gas line from there to the RICH N2 panel. Bank #1 will have a regulator set to ~20 psi and Bank #2' regulator will be set to ~10 psi. This will allow gas to be supplied from Bank #1 until its pressure drops below 10 psi, at which point, Bank #2 will start to supply N2.
Using the attached drawing as a reference, you're going to install the new backup manifold at MV4 rather than what is shown in the drawing. The house N2 supply will remain connected to and flowing through MV1.
Once the backup manifold is installed, DSG will run the cabling for the pressure transducers on the manifold to the hardware interlock cRIO and move the house nitrogen from MV1 to the new backup manifold at the connection point labeled "N2 Gas From 96B".
We want to make sure that whatever the plan is for the installation from the manifold, that N2 flow to RICH not be stopped for more than a few minutes. Since we discussed that MV4 will remain valved off until DSG runs the PT cables, can you all be sure to leave the house N2 supply line attached to MV1 and flowing after you all install the backup manifold?
Thanks,
Tyler
