[Dsg-rich] cRIO monitoring RICH aerogel dryboxes to be rebooted

Hello,

In the process of developing the new code to add to the cRIO, I realized a better way to perform the EPICS communication monitoring without having to add code to the cRIO.

The advantage of this is that it would be an independent process monitoring the cRIO and would be able to indicate that the cRIO itself is frozen.

There were no changes made today to the Aerogel Drybox Monitoring cRIO.

I'll send out more details of the new process once it is completed.

Best regards,
Tyler

Subject: [Dsg-rich] cRIO monitoring RICH aerogel dryboxes to be rebooted

Hello,

The cRIO that is monitoring the temperature and humidity in the dryboxes storing RICH aerogel will be rebooted to add some additional features to check its EPICS communication.

The cRIO may need to be rebooted a few times if the additions need to be debugged.

The additions will check the data being written to EPICS to ensure there are no occasions of EPICS data transfer stopping for any reason. These additions will not affect the exiting monitoring behavior of the cRIO, it will just add more features to help in debugging any problems.
