[dsg-hallb_rich] procurement of new dry box; RICH-II interlock timeline

Hello,

We are in the process of submitting a procurement request for a new dry box to store RICH's aerogel tiles.

The dry box will be a SuperDry MSD-series unit with one expansion unit for a total of 2400 L of storage space. We will also be procuring additional shelving to allow all tiles to be stored in a single layer (no tiles stacked on other tiles) and the option to add a nitrogen rotameter for connecting a backup purge to the dry box. We will send more details on the quote and PR once they have been received and submitted.

In regards to the timeline of development of RICH-II's interlocks, Peter Bonneau and I are in the process of determining the timeline and details to be able to give a more accurate estimate of when the system could be completed.

Finally, over the upcoming shutdown, DSG will continue monitoring the aerogel currently stored in dry boxes in the EEL. I will be on vacation for the remainder of this week, so Marc McMullen and Aaron Brown will monitor the boxes in my absence.
