Hi Tyler,

The RICH compressor #2 is set at 58-80 psi on the compressor.  The normal pressure in the tank is 55-70 psi.

The N2 flow hardware interlock is disabled intentionally.

We don’t need to shut down the detector if the N2 flow is low.

We need only alarm



We are looking for the AIRPR1 behavior. For a moment the minor alarm was set to 55 psi.

The air flow and temperatures are OK.

This morning when reviewing the RICH status we noticed that the N2 flow hardware interlock is disabled. Is this intentional?



There is still an alarm on the N2 flow so Hall B will still be notified on N2 flow loss, but the hardware interlock system will take no action.



We also noticed that the air pressure in the cooling tank is periodically giving a minor alarm. Were these alarm limits ever updated after the compressor optimization?





Bob,

Before the shutdown you were looking at the compressor on-off pressure settings. Were these settings returned to what Sandro and Dario set them at during the compressor optimization when the compressor was turned back on on Sunday?
