thanks for the answers, here is some additional clarification
request:

The cabinets have a ON/OFF switch in front. I assume after
the move you mention, they were switched ON. This is not
exactly what will happen at a power cut.
If that ON/OFF switch is left on and then the box is unplugged from the outlet, it should turn back on to the previous settings when plugged back into power.

Since JLab is in MEDCON 6, I believe that is the situation now.
And would Jack have access to your clean rooms ?
If he has the key, he can get in.
If he doesn't have the key, he'd have to talk to a security guard to let him into it.
