Hi Tyler,

It seems, from George’s email, that it should be quite simple to implement a control on the N2 flow. Therefore  I am in favour of buying the dry cabinet with the standard N2 flow option.
But let’s wait for my colleagues’ opinion as well

Please see Super Dry's email below.

It turns out that the auto-flow N2 rotameter option for the dry cabinet is not available and was offered to us in mistake. Instead, Super Dry can offer their standard N2 flow option. The down side of this is that it would be a constant N2 purge rather than something that can be set to turn on in the event humidity goes higher than expected.

As a potential way we can still get this auto-flow capability, we could look into designing a valve set up with normally-open valves so in the event of a power outage, N2 flow will automatically start.

If the standard N2 connection is okay, I will give the okay to Super Dry to move forward. Otherwise, we can have Super Dry remove any N2 flow option from the order.

Hi Tyler,

I received the purchase order today but discovered that I made a mistake in quoting you the auto flow nitrogen option. It is no longer available on that machine, and there was internal miscommunication here about it’s availability since my original quote in November.

However, I can provide the regular N2 flow option which is considerably less expensive, and since you explained that it is being purchased only to have a back up for emergencies, it will be very suitable for that purpose.

I can confirm the order with the alternative part number and price and return it to Jami And copy you.

Is that a satisfactory solution for you?
