Hello,

On the Linux server connected to the set of four screens in the cleanroom (hostname is clonpcsvt), when you log in as clasrun, there should be a link in that account's home directory to "richii-hw-intlk".

This executable will open up a user interface for the hardware interlock system to be able to read all sensor values, set interlock limits, and enable individual sensor's interlock.

The screens are still a work in progress (one of the tabs will be updated to graphically show where the sensors are in RICH), so the user interface was set up in this way to allow easier updates.

Hello,

The RICH-II hardware interlock chassis, sensor cabling, and sensors have been moved into/near the cleanroom.

The chassis is in the rack in EEL 125 with cabling running under the roll up door.

The cables and sensors are in two sets of boxes inside the cleanroom near the roll up door.

The first set of boxes is for the electronic panel (EP) sensors (there's a sign on the boxes). There are two boxes in this set. The first box has twelve, 100-ft cables for connecting the interlock chassis to the EP patch panel. The second box has twelve cables for connecting the EP patch panel to the sensors (~50-ft long) with the sensors connected to the end. There is also one, thin cable with a LEMO cable for connecting to the hardware interlock chassis to the CAEN.

The second set is in one box for the N2 volume sensors. There is only one box in this set that contains both twelve, 100-ft cable for chassis to feedthroughs and twelve, 50-ft cables with sensors on the end of it. There are also the two feedthroughs for the N2 volume in this box.

Soon, I'll set up an EPICS screen in the cleanroom so the sensors can be monitored when they're plugged in.

If during the process of installing the sensors, there are any sensors that don't work, just let me know and I'll replace the sensor with a spare, or replace the cable connected to the sensor.
