[dsg-hallb_rich] RICH hardware interlock

I have very limited remote access capabilities now, but if some one else from DSG is able to, they can:

  1. Use NI MAX to remotely reboot the device with host name “rich2sbrio”
  2. SSH into “rich2sbrio” with username admin (pe is admin) and reboot it that way.

If the remote reboot does not work, then someone may have to go down and physically unplug and then replug the power cable from the chassis.

If rebooting doesn’t work, then I’m not sure the path forward since we do not have a spare cRIO expansion chassis for RICH S1.

Since there’s still airflows and air pressure for S4, there’s still probably airflow for since the air flow is coming from the same buffer tank and there isn’t a way to change air flow settings for S1 unless someone went and changed the settings on the physical panel.

Tyler,

May be we need just to reboot your box. What do you think?
The sector1 detector is switched off. So, we can do it any time.

I know that the pressure (at least) is OK. We have another sensor from sector 4.

The problem is definitely persists and one RICH detector is not operating now.

Best regards,
Valery

Hi Valery,

I’m away from home now but I’ve been able to look at some of the RICH S1 things remotely.

I can see that the two air flows, air pressure, and Nitrogen flow for RICH S1 are not updating.

But, I can also see that the temperatures and humidities are updating for RICH S1. And I can see that there is air pressure and air flow from the buffer tank for S4.

With this, I think there has been an issue with part of the S1 chassis (specifically the expansion cRIO) that is causing the issue.

In reality, there is still probably airflow to S1, we just can’t monitor it currently.

Im not able to come in right now. If the problem persists, I can come in later tonight or tomorrow.

-Tyler

Hello guys,
Can anybody help us with the hardware RICH interlock.
The reading of Air Flow and Air pressure for RICH in sector 1 show zero values.
Thank you,
Valery
