Dear all,
let me second Marco: thanks to DSG and to the heroic travel
of our Frascati friends! The mission accomplished is
extraordinary. Bests, Marco.

Dear all,
last week we completed the first round of the second RICH module assembly.
I want to thank the DSG, in particular Tyler, Marc and George, and to Valery
for the support they provided during these two weeks.
And a big thank must go to Dario and Sandro, traveling from Italy to USA
during these days was not easy at all.
Here is a brief summary of what has been done and few words on the plans for
the next activities, we will have more detailed discussions at the next RICH
meeting.

1) The RICH vessel has been successfully assembled. This includes the
installation of the frontal panels, of the electronic panel and of the the
frame of the tedlar window.
2) The RICH was rotated up and down once, no issues were found.
3) The new procedure to install the electronic panel has been tested; besides
the fact that few details must be revised, the test was successful
4) We didn't have time to do much on the tedlar window except for mounting
the frame on the RICH; we leave the rest of the work to the Argonne personnel
5) The need for a revision of the spherical mirror mounts has been
identified, we will have a phone meeting with CMA soon to discuss this point;
after that, the new top part of the mounts can be printed at JLab and
eventually the mirrors shipped back to CMA

The RICH has been left in horizontal position with the frontal panels and the
frame of the tedlar window installed. I would ask DSG to cover the detector
with a plastic sheet to preserve it from dust.
The electronic panel is on its frame, ready for the assembly of the boards.
We discussed with Tyler and Marc several items to be purchased for the next
activities, I will prepare a summary list for the next meeting.
Best regards,
Marco
