[dsg-hallb_rich] Electronic panel stand in for leak checking?

Hi Marco Mirazita, Sandro, and Dario,
This morning, we talked about getting a rigid, stand-in panel made to take the place of the electronic panel in any leak checks in the near future.
I looked online and we would be able to get a custom panel made (and probably receive it some time next week) out of ~0.22"-thick, black ABS plastic but the catch would be the panel would have to be made in two separate parts because of it's size. The ABS panels could then be glued together to make the full size panel. Would this be acceptable?
Alternatively, for the real electronic panel, isn't there a carbon fiber panel that is used to enclose the electronics volume (where all the cabling, MAROCs, and FPGAs are)? Couldn't this be used to seal the opening of the electronic panel on the detector shell?
