[dsg-hallb_rich] Network switch “hallb-c3-4-sw” down?

Hi,
I've tried all I can do remotely, and it seems like the RICH Sector 4 N2 volume cRIO is dead.
I am currently unable to go into the lab, my car's front brakes seized on the way home from the lab today. I should be able to take a look tomorrow morning, though.
I am confident that the humidity is still low inside the detector since this morning the local N2 flow readout was still 40 slm.

Hi All,
RICH detector HV and LV are OFF. Compressor is OFF. All alarms (including air flow and pressure) are OFF.
Heartbeat RICH sector 4 N2 is not alive.
Thanks,
Valery

Hi Tyler,
The switch has been replaced, and it looks like the N2 cRio EPICS hearbeat is still not alive and so in alarm state.

thanks tyler and sergey
perhaps cc should put in a new switch and keep this switch as spare?

Computer center aware of the switch problem, I will follow up with repair.

Subject: Network switch “hallb-c3-4-sw” down?
Hi Nathan and Sergei,
I saw that all three RICH hardware interlock cRIOs had stopped communicating over the network around 4:30am.
Since all three went down at the same time, I suspected a power issue, but when I went down to the hall just now, all three were running fine.
I then noticed that network switch “hallb-c3-4-sw” that the three systems are connected to did not have any of its traffic indicator lights blinking.
Do you all know of any network outages or other issues with that switch?
Also, as an aside for RICH collaborators, both sectors are still getting 40 slm of nitrogen, so I am confident that the humidity in both sectors is still low despite not currently being able to remotely see the data.
