Hi Bob,

attached is the very preliminary manual I've been writing. It needs to update the latest modifications on the gas panel. I don't have the numbers you are asking me, so I'm cc'ing to the DSG and Bill Crahen. I think they can provide the numbers you need.

I appreciate the firm sentence about the fittings. I was pursuing any confirmation about it.

Hi Carlos,


I have reviewed the BONUS design with Cyril and need to review the gas system connections on the detector.


Please send me the detector gas system manual and procedures,  as well as the calculations and requirements for tube size, pressure, and flow for the helium and the helium/CO2 supply and return circuits.


Do not order any fittings until this review is complete.

Hi Keith,

people make notice a mistake in the labels (actually wrong term of one of the ports).

The one called "Helium Monitor (to DMS)" should be called "RTPC Pressure Port"

I am sorry, I was not aware about the terms they were using.
