[Dsg-rtpc] FYI Fw: new RTPC gas panel

Hi Narbe,

Amrit forwarded your email to me this morning. Of course, we are happy to work with you on the RTPC gas controls for the EEL test stand in 125. That test system will provide the LabView framework for the RTPC gas controls, which we will install in the Hall B Gas Controls system.

As Jiwan is testing the detector, we are using that information to fine tune the LabView software before we add it to the Hall B gas controls suite (also LabView), which services the gaseous detectors in Hall B. Controls is only part of that system, the other part is that we supply the monitored signals for those detectors to Nathan, for use in EPICS for monitoring, data-logging, and alarms.

As far as gas system hardware and connections please consult with Bob Miller, he is the system owner for all the gas systems in the Hall and has the support of the Hall B mechanical group. If our assistance is required for any tasks under his purview, he will contact the DSG to request assistance, and we will be more than happy to help.
