[Dsg-hallc_epics] Four of five requests for HV screens completed

Hello Steve,

Of the five points you sent us on the HV CSS screens (below in blue) all but point #2 for the mouse-over information has been addressed.

1.  If I pop up a histogram for one group and then pop up the histogram for the all group for the same spectrometer, the individual detector histogram gets replaced by histogram of everything.
Bug is fixed. Data displayed in a histogram will no longer be overwritten if a different histogram is opened.

2.  On the histograms, can you make a mouse-over that will show the channel name, epics name (or crate, slot, channel), and voltage/current)
We are still looking into this point.

3.  Could the histograms be resizable?  So if you make the window bigger, the histogram size scales with the window?
Feature has been added. Histogram screens can now be resized. Using the feature added for point #4, the bar size on the histogram also resizes when the screen size is changed. It may take a few seconds for the bar size to update, though. The attached "hms-hodo-1x-histogram-resized.png" shows this.

4.  Could the width of the bars on the histograms be variable width.  So a group with 16 channels has wider bars than a group with more.  It might be nice to leave a very small gap between bars.
Feature has been added. All histograms for detectors now have barsizes set by the number of channels. One note on this point: for detectors with only a few channels, like the Drift Chambers, CSS seems to limit the size the bars can be, so the histograms  for these detectors have more empty space than others. The attached "variable-bar-width-example.png" shows this.

5.  On the all histogram it would be nice to make a different color for each group.
Feature has been added. If the colors should be different, they can be changed. Just let us know. The attached "hms-all-histogram-group-colors.png" shows this.

The new versions of the screens have been added to cdaql2 and the startup script (go_hallc-hv) has been updated to point to the new screens. From now on, whenever the script is used to open the screens, the new ones will open. If there are currently any screens opened, they should be closed and then reopened using the script to get the new features.

If there are any issues caused by these changes or if there are any new items, please let us know.
