[Dsg-hallc_epics] Four of five requests for HV screens completed

Hi Steve.

To regenerate the screens, the Python-based conversion script is used. I put a copy of the latest version on cdaql2 at /home/cdsg/tcl2css.

We did give the mainframe and all the cards with the SHV connectors back to Brad. We have the second mainframe with CAEN A7030TN HV cards that have 36 channels per card.

We can test the failed HV cards to confirm problems. They can be dropped off any time. What would be the time frame that the cards would need to be tested in?

Best regards,
Tyler

Tyler:

This sounds great. I'll try it out.

How do you regenerate the screens? Coincident with power outage, we had
a bunch of HV hardware problems and had to move things around to
different channels.

Does your group still have the mainframe (with the SHV connectors) or
did you pass that back to Brad? We may need to raid that crate for
cards. Related to that, would your group be able to test cards that
have bad channels to confirm problems before we send them for repair.

Thanks, Steve
