Hello Steve,


To facilitate the testing of the built in EPICS Server on the HV CAEN Systems and allow the remote monitoring and control of the HV boards, CSS-BOY EPICS screens have been developed.


So far, it has been developed CSS screens for the three different HV board's models: A7435, A7030TN, and A1535.

As an example of the CSS-BOY screens developed, I have attached  screenshots for each of the three  HV boards and the Mainframe Status screen.


The development of the CSS-BOYS screens for each board consists on:

  1.     SY4527-CAEN-Mainframe Status: Allows the monitoring and control of the PVs associated with the SY4527 mainframe.
  2.    HVCAEN-Novice: Allows monitoring of main HV board parameters.
  3.    HVCAEN-Expert Controls: Allows monitoring and control of the HV board's parameters at expert level.
  4.    HVCAEN -Voltage and Current Monitor: Displays voltage vs time and current vs time bar graphs for each channel of the board under testing.


CSS-BOY screens were developed for each slot of the SY4527-CAEN Mainframe (x16) to allow simultaneous testing of the HV boards by just plugging them in any slot.  A total of  97 CSS-BOY screen were developed ( Mainframe: 1, A7435: 24, A1535: 24 , and A7030TN : 48 screens).
