Hi Peter,
Our DAQ equipment, network switch, etc (anything that needs to be
shielded) will be inside the SHMS electronics hut.
Any instrumentation cabling will follow the signal and HV cables from
the NPS itself, up to a rack on the SHMS power supply deck (primarily
for the RG-58 signal cables), then up again to a cable tray that will
carry the bundle to a penetration in the roof of the SHMS electronics
hut.
Total cable run from NPS chassis -> racks inside the SHMS electronics
hut will be a nominal 140'.
I do not believe this is captured in the current CAD model yet, but the
cable lengths have been verified. I've attached some embarrassingly low
grade sketches that may help.
