Hi Brad,
We can certainly set up a comms test in EEL 108, but it will have to be after the first 2 extension cables have been fabricated (each terminal block requires 2 d-sub cables).
Just as a heads up, we're looking into procuring some additional cable as we planned on making ~50 ft cables for 4 terminal blocks (10 cables including 2 spares).
Because of the new terminal block for the crystal array thermocouples, we now need 12 cables including 2 spares.
We will go ahead and start fabricating these cables while procuring the additional cable length and connectors needed.
Plan going forward is to fabricate twelve 60 ft. cables (10 necessary for 5 terminal blocks - 2 cables each, and 2 spare cables) and connectors.
