Hi Bob et al,

Does March 28th work for CAEN coming and performing some maintenance work on the high voltage modules?
Is there any additional work that we would need them to perform?

Hi Aaron,

I've heard from both Chris Cuevas (B) and Fernando Barbosa (D) that the end of March works better with the shutdown.  We are thinking to arrive into Newport News on ~March 27th and available to begin working on the boards on the 28th.  There are several boards in Hall B that require service and a few boards in Hall D as well.

Does that timetable work for you guys?  And can you think of any other maintenance or service that you'd like us to perform while we are there?

The problem was with a few boards, but we figure they should all be potted just to be on the safe side.
During the experiment this probably won't be an issue as the cables will be connected and should be left alone, but in the event that we need to replace a cable or disconnect for any reason, what we don't want is to have this unseating issue show up when time is an issue.

Yes, I saw that email.  Thank you very much.  I'll follow up on it with regards to other possible work.

Please remind me...did you have this pot problem with all of the connectors for the A7030TN?  Or did it seem to be isolated to just a few boards, but to be safe you would like them all potted?

I have forwarded your last email to Brad Sawatzky and Bob Michaels from Hall C to see if either of the proposed dates will work in terms of their testing schedule.
Also, I'll check to see if they have any additional work requests.
Hopefully we get a quick response and can settle on a time frame.

Hi Aaron,

Could you please give me a summary of what exactly we'll need to do when we are onsite?  Are we simply potting the connectors on the boards to prevent pins from slipping?  Or are there connectors that will require repair, or even replacement?

We're trying to better understand the nature of the work that must be performed to help us anticipate what hardware we need to bring and how long we might be on site.
