mindy will try and solder about 120 capacitors  today
as you perhaps know, hand soldering surface mount caps is a painstaking job
and we wish to do the task with no errors
to do so there is an optimal speed for each task

We apologize for not having good planning.  Yes, it’s 1080 total PMTs, and the French techs are on campus for a limited time — the rest is math.  Mark Jones has asked FEG to loan a tech.  With the extra person we have a decent chance of finishing on time.  Again, my apologies for this time crunch and the stress.

my question is where did the original request 50/day come from
i am sure that the french group was consulted as to how many the would be able to install per day
have they sped up the process!

Hi Mark and Bogdan,

Just wanted to get some clarification with what's going on with the divider bases alteration/installation.
It was my understanding that there were already 150 bases with the capacitors added and Mindy has completed ~150 as of today.
Have they all been installed within the past day by the French team?
Is this the pace that can be expected for the remainder?
If this is the case, we definitely would not be able to keep up with that pace due to our current work load and someone from another team would need to be pulled in to help.
