I'm sorry, but I don't know what that extra cable is for.    One should consult the user manual for that system.  It's possible that the person who made the cable might know.  I would not think it's needed, but better to check and be sure.

Hi Mindy

I am about to start the nps calorimeter test with the HV cables you made. I attach two pictures.

One shows how I would plug the HV connector in the HV card and the other shows this wire that I don't know what's for.

I was wondering what the hanging wire is for and whether is there anything I have to do with it.
