Mark,
As you can see the DSG is well organized and if someone is not available for whatever reason there is always someone that can help.
I second Mark to thank Aaron for responding even if on vacation!

Patrizia,
I did not realize that Aaron was on vacation. I thank him for responding when on vacation.
Would Brian or other engineer by able to contact David Gelhaar to check if they have
spare chiller that could work. Of maybe they have a better idea. The Hall C techs are trying to
fix the leak. The first attempt yesterday was not successful.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
I am on vacation and will return on May 2nd. If you do get a replacement chiller send an email to the dsg mailing list (cc’d on this email) and Brian Eng or one of the other engineers will look into integrating it into the system or I can come back early to work on it.
Best,
Aaron

Aaron,
Jay Benesch below says that RF use some chillers. WOuld you be able to contact
David Gelhaar to see if they have spares that could work?
Cheers,
Mark

The RF folks have small SMC chillers to cool MO/LO systems in linac service buildings. I do not know if they have a spare nor if the capacity meets your requirement. I doubt the capacity suffices, but you might as well try. Nor do I know delivery times, they might. https://www.smcusa.com/products/chillers

Jay and Doug,
The chiller used for NPS has developed a leak. They are trying to fix it, but the first attempt
yesterday failed. It is a Model 030. It circulates water at ~20C+\- 0.1 c. WOuld you have an idea
if someone around the lab has something similar that we could use if it cannot be fixed that
we could ask?
Cheers,
Mark
