Sounds fine to me, but can they unlock the access doors when the testing is finished at the end of the night. Ops always locks up fine but never unlocks the doors when the testing is finished. When we come in the next day, the only access points to the tunnel are North/South Access and the injector.... no in between buildings to gain access to the tunnel. Making it a pain if you have to take equipment down in the tunnel to hookup or have to haul equipment downstairs to use for troubleshooting.

This is fine on my end, as long as they stick to it. They like to start pushing things up and up once they get to locking up, and it leaves us with less time to troubleshoot issues. The last two weeks have had no short supply of vacuum things popping up to troubleshoot, and we can't do it efficiently if they start locking up half of the day shift.

Colleagues,
In order to support SRF commissioning, Mike Drury has requested that the
tunnel be locked up and ready for SRF work by 1630 daily.
To support this, gates and doors will be locked at 1500.
Operations will need to begin sweeping the N&SLinacs around1530 daily.
If your work cannot be support this lockup plan, please let me know now
so negotiations can begin.
It is hoped that tunnel lockups will begin Monday 4/15/13, a week from
today. This is dependent on a successful 2K pumpdown of the CHL.
Steve
