Hello All,

Just an observation from today's meeting: on the plot that Nathan showed last, the "bad" pads as a function of position, I noticed a few of the groups to be 7x2, instead of the expected 8x2 for the case of an affected pre-amp/driver board.

It may be conceivable, that the connector on the RTPC side was shifted by one position, effectively grounding a couple of pads, but not providing the desired ground connection between pre-amp board and pad readout plane.
This would lead to two pads not being read out, the overall ground connection not as desired (possible ground loop via the cable, but not at the pad plane) and hence somewhat floating, and a shift in pad position as read out (wrongly assigned channel number).

Maybe something to think about and
Cheers,
	Stephen
