Dear Mohammad,

Concerning question 35 from reviewer #2 on the two- vs four-dimensional subtraction

In section 4.5.1 you actually do not explain *why* you decided to integrate the acceptance ratio over 2 dimensions before doing the subtraction
In section 4.4 you mention limited statistics, but I would assume that is limited statistics for the data, not for the acceptance ratio

The reviewer's basic point is that :
 N(ij) = sum(over kl) [Nexp(ijkl) - R(ijkl)NexpPi0(ijkl)]
is different from :
 sum(over kl)[Nexp(ijkl)] - [ sum(over kl)NexpPi0(ijkl) ] x [ sum(over kl)R(ijkl) ]

[granted, the reviewer did have a typo in the second formula, missing R]
Note that, this is a mathematical problem which is present even if the simulations perfectly reproduce your data, so the current version of your answer does not address the reviewer's concern.

How hard would it be for you to do the subtraction first, and the integration over two dimensions next ?

Best regards,
FX

Subject: [Eg6_analysis] The up-to-date analysis note and answers to the 1st	round comments

Dear All,
Here you can find the up-to-date version of the analysis note. As some of us requested to identify the big modifications we did in the second version, here I list them:

- Chapter 1: pages 13 - 15: a brief introduction about the whole experimental setup; CLAS, Solenoid, IC, beam, ..
- Chapter 2: A. Cleaned the text and corrected some equations modified some plots.
B. Added section 2.4 for the efficiency of the RTPC.
- Chapter 3: small changes regarding the text and adding some requested plots from the reviewers.
- Chapter 4:
A. Added section 4.1.3 for some checks to ensure the stability of our coherent DVCS results.
B. Added section 4.5.2 for the accidental contamination.
C. Section 4.7: the systematic studies were re-performed with additional sources are added.
- Chapter 5: The whole chapter is changed; starting from taking full terms of the fitting form to comparing our results to the published free proton results.

On the other hand, you can find the latest version of the answers to the review committee. We had few questions we left to be answered with the final results. These are, labeled in red:
- 1st reviewer: page 25: Q.49 and Q.52
- 2nd reviewer: page 40: Q.51
- 3rd reviewer: page 50: Q.21 and Q.22
