Katherine,
Hot off the press, here is the updated animation for RHIC to EIC. Please let me know if you can use this for the presentation.

All set with the final edits! Here the Ion Arrows wait until the Electron Arrow has passed during the final reveal of the Electron Accelerator phase.

Yes. I should be able to slide those keyframes over until after the complex.

Looks great. One thing that some folks might quibble about is that in the EIC, we show ions and electrons circulating (the “ions” with arrows) BEFORE the electron injector complex (the external ring) is added. Would it be possible to delay those ions labels and arrows in the big ring from appearing until AFTER the external ring and electrons circulating in that ring appear? It’s just delaying the appearance of the ion directions and arrows in the EIC portion. Let me know if that’s too much to ask for!

Revised attached 😊 Triple checking to make sure I have the colors correct.

I think this looks great overall. Two things I’d like to change if possible, and one minor thing only if it’s not difficult:
1. How difficult would it be to add two “Ion Storage Ring” labels to the RHIC schematic (once in yellow, where you have it for EIC, and once in blue, maybe on the opposite side) before you have the ions with arrows appear? Then the blue one would disappear when the blue ring disappears for the transition to the EIC.
1. And I think I just caught a problem: the yellow ions change directions from RHIC to EIC. I think we can solve this by moving those “Ions” labels in the RHIC part to where you have the yellow one for EIC (closer to the bottom of the ring – which would make more room for the Ion Storage Ring labels) and SWITCHING the colors: yellow should be moving counterclockwise as it does in EIC, blue should be moving clockwise.
1. One more minor thing that we can probably skip is that RHIC should have a second injection line near the STAR detector that feeds ions into the blue ring (in the clockwise direction).

Good morning,
Attached is the updated public-label RHIC to EIC Animation for the display table and Flickr.
Please let me know if there are any changes.
Thank you.
