We will be holding a Lattice Workshop on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022.


Purpose of the Workshop: The purpose of the lattice workshop is to assess the status of the various accelerator designs and lattices (HSR, RCS, ESR) in terms of geometric layout and space requirements, with an emphasis on the straight sections, as well as to assess the maturity of these lattices and requirements as needed input for component design. The workshop is therefore to a large extent organized by straight section-by-straight section, with short presentations on the main accelerator lattices in each straight and their geometric layout, followed by ample discussion time for each straight section.
Discussion topics include:

*Layout of the accelerators, transfer lines, strong hadron cooling facility, etc. in the straight sections
*Maturity of component design requirements such as magnet field quality.

The goal of the workshop is to assess the overall lattice and layout design maturity as it impacts component design and to identify and prioritize necessary design activities needed for CD-2.
