ACCELERATOR SEMINAR 

Head-Tail Modes for FNAL Booster

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory 

The collective motion particles in accelerators is of great importance when high intensity beams are considered.  At the same time there are certain problems with both theoretical description and experimental observation of head-tail modes determining the particles motion.  Recently the head-tail modes were successfully resolved for beam motion at FNAL Booster.  Experimental results and interpretation are going to be discussed.
