Dear Kondo,
I can't be connected - just leaving my office.
My opinion is the same:
1. Double 1 mm MMG (only) detectors, Ar+isobutane(10%), and common cathode (maybe, should be checked).
2. But the best - SciFibers to solve all problems (but with an additional R&D, bending fibers in front of  sensors).

We will have our regular eRD108 meeting tomorrow 09/21 at 9 am. On the agenda, we will discuss the feedback we got from project and collaboration leaders after TIC meeting on Monday where ePIC MPGD options have been presented.



I uploaded on the Indico page, the slides I presented at the TIC meeting and the follow-up email from Elke this morning. These are the items I would like to discuss as we have been asked to give an update a week later on Thursday 28th after at the Tracking WG meeting.



The message from the project is clear: They reject the hybrid GEM-uRWELL option as a choice for ePIC uRWELL trackers and ask us to provide timeline for R&D completion for the standard 3 mm drift gap as well as 1-mm (or 2 mm) thin gap single amplification uRWELL alternative with heavy gas.



My personal opinion is already formed and without ambiguity. I am waiting to hear yours
