Hi All,
Hall C would like to run the HMS dipole for magnet testing/measuring at near full field. The would like to run the HB to full field and this is expected to require "re-training" it, ie multiple quenches. If possible Hall C would like to cooldown their HMS dipole. The first stage is a cooldown to 80K using 4 atm helium and LN2. They can use up to 10g/s if that much is available and it should take ~3 days to get to 80K. If less is available then cooldown time will increase.

If needed this weekend or next week Hall C can warm up both Quads on the SHMS, this should save between 100 and 150 watts of refrigeration power (magnets and U-tubes) plus the lead flow. If for some reason the load needs to be shed this weekend due to ESR issues w/o the ESTL (End Station Transfer Line, this is the actual name of the TL that sends LN2 and Super Critical helium from CHL to ESR). Please call Steve Lassiter, or Mike Folwer or Paul Brindza (in that order) to have them shut off the flow to the SHMS quads.

Next week Hall B wants to run their cryotarget with H2 gas/liquid, pending approval to do so.

Hall A has no special plans at this point.

Please forward other requests and info to me.
Thanks
Dave
